The facilities are doctor's offices with small pharmacies designed to provide basic healthcare services for very poor people and to experiment with innovative financing approaches.

In partnership with the India Foundation, an NGO dedicated to helping homeless children, established a clinic located in a poor market area in the city of New Delhi that serves the homeless. The facility is a primary care clinic with a small pharmacy service.

In partnership with a small NGO, Subhamoy Samity, the local government, and a coalition of women's self-help groups, established a primary care clinic with a small pharmacy. Funding also covered the use of a team of outreach health workers to encourage participation in health screening and preventive health education.
